Job Description:

AECOM's Civil Infrastructure Systems Team is experiencing a huge growth in the last years and is looking to the future needs of the world's infrastructures.

Due to our ESG objectives, we are looking to hire a Sustainability Project Manager focused in Railways projects, who will ensure we work in the most environmental friendly way possible.

This professional will define sustainability strategies for Rail Systems design projects, and oversees the implementation of sustainability plans applicable for the project.

The new colleague will have access to some of the top global transportation projects, becoming part of a high-performance group.

Some of the duties will be:

Participate in bid processes and produce Sustainability Plans.
Assist the teams in completing the sustainable specifications.
Produce rating system implementation plans.
Life cycle assessment.
Embodied Carbon Calculations.
Provide specialized technical input to the designers to incorporate it in the design, including attending design team's meetings, as appropriate.
Participate in the interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Check the project specifications and building regulations.
Provide inputs for other disciplines.
Attend client interface meetings.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.

We are looking to hire a passionate Rail Systems Engineer motivated to work focused in the sustainability of the future projects we design and develop worldwide.

It is important to hold a training course or certificate in an Environmental field, if it is possible related to engineering.

What do we think could be key to succeed in the role? Any of these requirements:

Experience rating systems projects such as: LEED, PEER, ENVISION, CEEQUAL.

- or previous experience in any of these systems consultancy fields: Green Project Management, Low carbon buildings & infraestructures, Carbon management strategies, Energy Efficiency, Distributed energy & Renewables (FV, solar, geothermal, CHP, CCHP and biomass), ESCO projects, Innovation projects (H2020), Strategic Consultancy and Sustainability Apraissal/certification.

Knowledgeable of standards and norms, especially ASHRAE and IECC.
