Your Role & Responsibilities

Crossfunctional organization, coordination and moderation of global cost down workshop (MAHLE internally and/or with supplier) during series production or in development phase.
Support or project lead for the implementation of specific costdown measures (e.g. supplier or design change)
Short term assignments to support the successful acquisition of strategic projects (e.g. Make-OrBuy analysis)
Support of purchasing initiatives within business/product segment and strong cooperation with purchasing teams.
Reporting of project status and results.

Your Skills & Strengths

Sucessfully completed studies in Engineering, industrial engineering or technical business administration.
Strong entrepreneurial and commercial mindset.
High level of written and spoken language skills in English (other languages positively considered).
Knowledge in the analysis of project and financial KPI's.
Excellent communication skills, ability to motivate and to include different stakeholders & opinions.
Strong intercultural competencies & availability for international business trips.
Ideally several years of experience in project management, purchasing or product development in automotive or similar industry.
First or advanced experience with product cost optimization project is desirable.
Experience in the moderation of (cost down) workshop is an advantage.
Kowledge of product cost/value analysis, benchmarking and target costing is an advantage.
