Our Customer Data Gateway will play a crucial part on the success of Evinova as it will be the primary channel for our products to integrate seamlessly with our customer data and system ecosystems.

Seamless data integration is paramount to achieving our human experience-driven product experience.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Customer Data Gateway Leader.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing our customer data gateway solution from the ground up to enable our cloud-based products to seamlessly access data from our customers' diverse clinical and healthcare systems.

You will be responsible for creating and overseeing a dedicated team of software engineers, data engineers, and data analysts, guiding them in the creation of our customer data gateway, further differentiating our market-leading products.

By collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying at the forefront of emerging technologies and changes in the clinical system landscape, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's data-driven future, ultimately contributing to our success and innovation within the life sciences industry.

Solution Design: As our Data Gateway solution does not exist today, you will lead the design and architecture of our data gateway solution that includes adapters for various clinical systems and methods for customers to securely integrate their data.
Clinical Landscape Expert: Demonstrate expertise in different versions of clinical systems provided by various vendors, ensuring compatibility and smooth data integration. This will be crucial to the success of this role when it comes to understanding what to build and our credibility with customers.
Technical Implementation: Be responsible for the technical implementation of the customer data gateway solution, including system integration, data transfer mechanisms, and data security protocols.
Customer Engagement: Your customers will be both our external paying customers, as well as our internal product development teams. You will act as the main point of contact for customers, understanding their data access requirements, and providing solutions that meet their needs.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of data analysts and engineers responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of the data gateway solution. You will be responsible for recruiting the team required to deliver this solution as well as handling external delivery partners as we scale.
Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity, security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations throughout the data gateway process.
Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize the data gateway for efficiency, speed, and scalability, staying updated with industry best practices.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the data gateway solution, ensuring transparency and ease of use for both internal teams and customers.
Compliance Adherence: Comprehension of regulatory data requirements while creating, maintaining, and updating processes for testing and assessment of adherence to regulatory compliance policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Direct experience leading both data engineering and software engineering teams.
Experience with leading database technologies and data query languages.
Experience with modern programming languages.
Deep understanding of data quality and governance.
Proficiency in designing and building data pipelines, data loading and movement processes, data integration solutions, and endpoints.
Experience with data modeling and database design.
