As the gatekeeper of data-driven wisdom and the architect of operational brilliance, the Business Intelligence and Operational Excellence Manager embodies a powerful synergy of analytical prowess and strategic acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence:_
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive operational excellence strategy aligned with Fourthline's objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize areas for process improvement, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Implement industry best practices and benchmarks to achieve operational excellence.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate departmental performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Business Intelligence:_
  • Own the business intelligence function within Operations, including collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to operational performance.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to drive strategic decisionmaking.
  • Create and present reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights to key stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of data, BI (Business Intelligence) and process analysts.
  • Process Analysis and Improvement:_
  • Lead process mapping and analysis efforts to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to design and implement streamlined processes and workflows.
  • Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions and drive process improvements.
  • Regularly assess the impact of process changes and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Program Management:_
  • Develop and support a structured program management framework to oversee multiple initiatives.
  • Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster strong relationships with other departments, such as Compliance, Risk Management, Customer Success and Support.
  • Work collaboratively to identify areas of constructive collaboration and streamline crossfunctional processes.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to ensure effective communication and alignment of goals.

Skills and Experience
The required skills and experience of the BI and Operational Excellence Manager include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field; master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management, process improvement, or a similar role.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, including proficiency in data analytics tools and software.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building crossfunctional relationships.
  • Experience in program or project management with a track record of successfully leading complex initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
  • Financial industry experience is a plus.
