We are a spin-off company of the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) and the Fundación Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Santiago de Compostela (FIDIS).

We are located at Campus Sur of USC and collaborating with top research institutes in the areas of Physics, Optics and Biomedicine.

BFlow is selecting a
Project leader position to develop the WIMER project to implement new sensors to the wine industry, opening a new business unit within microfluidics at BFlow.

This R&D project is supported by Axencia Galega de Innovación (Government of Galicia) as Excellence NEOTEC Project. This position is a unique opportunity to incorporate to the growing field of biotech and Smart factories in Galicia.


Tasks of Project leader:

• To develop the WIMER project, focusing on design, standardization and commercial translation of the developed microfluidic solutions to improve sensors applied in the wine industry.
• Head of the Smart factory division applied to agriculture and food.

Mandatory requirements

• Bachelor or Degree in Physics and/or Engineering.
• PhD in Physics and/or engineering.
• Fluent communication in English.
• Skills such as teamwork, creativity, problem solving and initiative.

Valuable requirements

• Experience in design and microfabrication techniques.
• Experience in optics and/or spectrophotometric sensors.
• Previous R&D experience.
• Team management experience.

Salary: 25,000.00€ - 30,000.00€ per year
