Desktop Publisher - DTP (English, full time)

From our office in Valencia, we make sure our customers love us by giving them a 9+ WOW service. As we are growing, we are looking for new colleagues for our DTP team in Valencia.

Someone passionate about graphic design and about the printing industry, who loves helping our customers, providing excellent service, and who are looking for a challenging environment with motivated and ambitious people.

As a Desktop Publisher, you are responsible for all the files of the orders before they go into production. Make sure the files are right, that they match the printing requirements and that the printing results are going to be the best

What you do:

You are responsible for checking all customer files and making sure each one is ready to be turned into a great printed product;
You check each file meticulously and fast, finding the right solution to any file error that comes across. This is achieved by closely following guidelines and also by using your own initiative and creativity where required;
You also will have to fix files: text margins, adding bleed, work with Pantone colors, converting files to vector or coming up with more creative solutions where needed. These changes then need to be explained to the customer, who is often not familiar with the world of print, so careful communication is key;
You must also have the ability to create a printready file from design brief to approved artwork when required;
You will be working with designs that will be printed on a wide range of products, from all kinds of paper products to big banners, flags, têxtiles, and all kinds of corporate gifts.

What are we looking for?

A professional level of English, both verbally and written;
Bachelor or Master in Graphic Design (or similar);
Expert in using InDesign and Illustrator, with the professional level of other Adobe Creative tools;
Understanding and knowledge of print terminology and printing process;
Minimum 1year experience in a similar/related role;
Willingness to relocate or already Valenciabased.
