Skills/Qualifications
Principal tasks and duties:
Study of proposals and research work related to intelligence acquisition techniques, mainly from open sources (OSINT), social media (SOCMINT) and cyber threats (Cyber Threat Intelligence) applicable to cyber defence scenarios.
Innovative proposals for architectures, frameworks, and technologies capable of capturing, merging, processing, and analysing large amounts of data from multiple sources of different nature.
Application of artificial intelligence for analysis and decision-making for the (semi-)automated management of cyber security incidents that can subvert tactical operations in cyber defence scenarios.
Development of proofs of concept that integrate different intelligence sources into the tactical and operational cyber defence system.
Analysis of the results for the validation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the developed proofs of concepts.
Dissemination of project results in conferences and articles in high-impact journals.
