Turner & Townsend has a new opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Spain.

Procurement for major capital projects and programmes includes:

Developing procurement and contracting strategies to drive value and mitigate risk
Developing tender and contract documentation, and
Effectively managing the endtoend procurement process including coordinating tender clarifications responses, evaluating tender submissions, and developing tender reports.
Develop your skill set and knowledge by working with an outstanding team of specialist consultants;
Engage and influence clients on procurement of major construction projects and programmes across a variety of sectors including energy, transport, water and real estate;
Drive real change by supporting clients in realizing their sustainability ambitions; and
Challenge themselves in a marketleading global business.

The duties of this role include:

Providing procurement advice to clients;
Managing endtoend procurement services on construction and constructionservicesrelated projects and programmes;
Developing and implementing procurement strategies and plans;
Engaging with the market and supply chain on a national and international level;
Providing expertise to embed sustainability within procurement competitions; and
Drafting tender documents and reviewing contract documents prepared by others.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years' experience with 3 years procurement experience for the procurement of capital works, goods or services; and
Preferably possess degree related to engineering or quantity surveying
Experience in construction, industrial, high tech manufacturing, battery, semiconductors, pharma and/or manufacturing sector.
Business level Spanish + English
