    Scopely is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Director of Social and Community to join our Monopoly Go Team

    Monopoly GO is our new casual game and a key franchise that has just become Scopely's largest game, enjoyed by millions of players. The team is based in Europe and the US, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.

    What You'll Do

    As a Sr. Director of Social and Community at Monopoly GO you will play a pivotal role in nurturing an engaged community of players and organic content creators while overseeing the game's social media presence. Your strategic vision, leadership skills, and passion for gaming will contribute to fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment that resonates with players worldwide.

    Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of community managers, program coordinators, and social media specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Set clear goals, provide guidance, and evaluate team members' performance, facilitating professional growth
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners that contribute to the community and creator program initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between the community and creators and the product team, effectively communicating and advocating for their needs and ideas
  • Community Strategy and Engagement:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global community strategy that aligns with the game goals and values
  • Oversee community management efforts across various platforms, ensuring consistent and authentic communication
  • Plan and execute community events, contests, and activities that enhance player engagement and loyalty
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate community feedback into game development processes, ensuring a player-centric approach
  • Foster positive interactions and relationships within the community by promoting inclusivity, respect, and collaboration
  • Content Creator Program:

  • Serve as the main point of contact and advocate for content creators, developing our Official Creator program and building strong relationships
  • Provide guidance and support to creators, helping them understand the program's expectations and maximizing their potential
  • Foster a sense of community among creators through regular communication, virtual events, and networking opportunities
  • Identify new opportunities for program growth, including potential partnerships, platforms, and target audience segments
  • Establish performance metrics and track the success of the creator program, providing regular reports to senior management
  • Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy that grows our followers and aligns with Monopoly GO's brand identity and community engagement goals
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content tailored to specific social media platforms
  • Monitor social media trends, respond to community interactions, and manage brand reputation
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools to track community engagement metrics, sentiment, and social media performance, deriving insights to inform strategies
  • Provide regular reports to senior management, detailing the effectiveness of community and social media initiatives and suggesting improvements
  • What We're Looking For

  • +5 years of experience in community management, social media management, preferably in the gaming industry
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of gaming platforms, streaming services, and social media channels relevant to content creators
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and build rapport with content creators, internal stakeholders, and the product team
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure program performance, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strategic thinking and creativity in designing and executing marketing campaigns to promote creator content
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast paced environment with cross functional teams across multiple time zones
  • Experience with Google Suites, Discord, Social Media Platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, etcetera
  • Experience working with Social Media Reporting tools
  • Required high proficiency in English and working on site for 2-3 days a week
