Required experience and skills

  • You already have experience with the database product MSSQL
  • You are familiarized with the Linux version of SQL Server in any of the following context: SQL Server Operator for Kubernetes, SQL Server Linux containers or direct Linux installations of MSSQL
  • You are passionate and enthusiastic about new technologies and topics related to Linux and Kubernetes
  • AlwaysOn is not just a switch for you
  • You can easily switch from the GUI to command line interfaces like sqlcmd to perform common tasks within the databases
  • Ideally, you have T-SQL knowledge for automation topics in MSSQL Server and knows the MSSQL HA Operator architecture
  • Ideally, you have basic knowledge of Python, GoLang and other cloud topics
  • The willingness to get involved with new cloud technologies (e.g. Kubernetes) and approaches is a prerequisite
  • English language advanced level
