WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING


Santander Auto Software is an exciting new greenfield programme currently at early stages, where we are building a brand-new, state of the art software platform and product suite that will be rolled out in 13 countries.


The business is 100% tech focused, comprised of skilled cross-border software builders, and with a leadership team made up of esteemed individuals with accomplished backgrounds from the likes of Amazon, Microsoft, and other major global tech players.


What are we looking for?
We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our team.

This role will be a varied role covering on boarding, HR administration, analytics, building out / creating new process and project work.

This role will be fast past environment with tight deadlines.


In this role will require you to have previous HR experience, and be able to own processes, along with the ability and track record on improve ways of work.

We are in fast growth mode across Europe, and the successful person will need to be flexible, agile and willing to take on and learn new processes as we scale up the business.

This role is 100% remote working.


Responsibilities & requirements:


  • Responsible for all HRIS updates and changes currently using Workday.
  • Maintaining and updating on boarding, cost and staffing trackers.
  • Payroll & benefits administration
  • Building relationships with manager and staff to support on day to activities and queries
  • Providing advice and support on a range of HR policies and HR related issues (disciplinary, grievance, capability/performance and management of sickness etc.)
  • Supporting and coaching employees and managers on the employee life cycle e.g. Performance Management, objective setting, delivering feedback etc.
  • Managing leavers process
  • Support on process design and all HR projects
  • Developing company culture

Experience Required:


  • Strong knowledge and experience of delivering HR generalist support.
  • Solid people skills and has developed relationships with middle management. Can influence and shape change, and best practices.

  • Workday
  • Strong administration and organisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative quickly and effectively with multiple priorities to tight deadlines
  • Approachable, selfmotivated, proactive team member
Someone who thrives in not being constrained by job description and will instead own and see a problem through to a solution
