Who We Are:


The Worldfolio is a news website and a media agency specialised in the production of business, investment and industrial reports.


Thanks to our partnerships with famous media outlets (some of which you may read or watch every day), we create editorial features in which we promote the most dynamic sectors of Asian economies.

To gather content for our reports, we interview C-Suite executives, government officials and economic experts.


Since the start of our Japanese operation in 2015, we have produced over 300 reports about Japan, covering a wide variety of topics ranging from real estate to robotics.


As an Editorial Director, your main tasks will be to:

  • Oversee the research, design and creation of business, investment and industrial reports
  • Interview C-Suite executives, government officials and economic experts
  • Develop and train team of journalists
  • Write and review interview guidelines
  • Write editorial pieces and articles to contribute to editorial features
  • Review and approve publication layout and content

What profile we look for:


  • You read the news every day and have a solid understanding of current economic, political and business trends
  • You are curious and enjoy researching and writing about topics ranging from finance and investment to technology and semiconductors
  • You are creative, outgoing and have strong presentation skills

Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree
- +3 years of experience in journalism
- or media-related fields

  • English native level
  • Speaking Japanese is preferred but not required
  • Portfolio of published articles
