***: GoContact is looking for a Accountant to join our growing team in Spain. We are looking to hire a dynamic individual to support the day to day, monthly, and year end accounting operations. In this role, you will prepare reports, present monthly financial statements, prepare journal entries, and provide financial advice based on data analysis to upper management. To be successful in this role, you will need to be self-motivated, effectively communicated quantitative data, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles.


YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:


  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Produce errorfree accounting reports and present their results
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
  • Provide input into department's goal setting process
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Support monthend and yearend close process
  • Administrative work
  • Collaborate with team members and members of other departments.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • At least 4 years experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
  • Must have: experience working in a Iberian Company
  • Native Spanish speaker (other languages such as Portuguese or English are highly valued)
