That feeling when no two days at work are the same

As our Customer Care Manger Fish - Spain Portugal using your technical education and commercial sense, you grow the sales of Service Business Products like Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and spare parts in Spain and Portugal.

Visiting fish producers that use Marel equipment, you convince them to use our services, process knowledge and parts, improving the performance and reliability of their processes and systems.

You spot opportunities, propose solutions that add value to the customer, and close the deal. With your commercial sense, you enjoy to sell value (e.g. Total Cost of Ownership, improved machine performance, higher throughput, and quality) in a competitive market.

Your day-to-day tasks in a nutshell:

• Visiting customers and prospects (50-70% of your time), identifying opportunities for sales of Service Business Products and parts. This includes arranging, preparing, and reporting these visits;
• Independent handling of the entire sales process including offering solutions matching your customer's needs;
• Liaise with Service Area Managers (regional and industrial information), Service Engineers (your eyes at the customer), and account managers (who sell new equipment).

Since this is a commercial role, we measure your performance by the amount of visits you do, volume of created opportunities, and your hit rate.

You understand machines and equipment. You have a basic understanding of the food processing industry. You like to manage and organize your own work.

Also, you have experience in sales of complex equipment or high value services, or you are willing to learn the commercial side of this role.

You want to be the trusted advisor for your customers.

In order to be successful in this challenging role, we are looking for the following in your profile:

• Education in technical area (eg Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronical Engineering) or in Business Engineering.
• Minimum 23 years' experience in a technical environment, preferably at a manufacturer of capital equipment.
• Comfortable speaker in Spanish or Portuguese and English.
• Drive to grow your commercial skills.
• Independent worker, able to schedule your own tasks and week planning.
