Preply Business is looking for a Sales Trainer that will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering onboarding training programs for Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).

This person will work closely with the sales leadership team to assess the training needs of new SDRs and develop programs that improve their skills, knowledge, and understanding of the company's products and services.

Will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring new SDRs on an ongoing basis. This position is based in Barcelona, Spain.


What you'll be doing:


  • Deliver initial and ongoing training programs for new account executives & SDRs.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to assess the quality of the onboarding programs for AE's and SDRs and recommend improvements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding training programs and make improvements as necessary.
  • Conduct training classes and onboarding training sessions in person and/or remotely, and provide feedback to new AE's and SDRs to improve their performance.
  • Develop training materials such as decks, speaker notes, scripts, lyrics, handouts, and multimedia visual aids.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
  • Track new hires performance during the onboarding and hypercare phases and report to the leadership.

What you need to succeed:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, liberal arts, arts, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in sales, sales training, or a related field.
  • Sales Management experience is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Expert at working with Powerpoint/Google Suite and other tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with elearning platforms and instructional design principles.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Experience with onboarding new AE's & SDRs or other salesrelated positions.
  • Ability to work well with others and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to travel as necessary to conduct onboarding training sessions.
  • Degree in Business or equivalent.
