The jobholder reports to the Head of Military Air Systems (previously Military Aircraft) Services Pricing and is part of Military Air Systems Services F&C, which belongs to the Military Air Systems F&C.

The job is located in Getafe (S06 building).

The position also interacts with external parties such as National Price Authorities (NPAs) and Customers.

The offers will mainly involve the LTA, Tanker and A400M platforms. The approximated Order Intake in Military Aircraft Services is 2000 M€/year.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MAJOR END RESULTS:

The job holder is responsible to setup prices based on cost collection and consolidation and will prepare profitability analyses, cashflows, payment profiles, amortization plans and risk registers as necessary for the commercial offers, and will validate the consistency of the overall file.
The job holder will support the definition with Legal and Contracts of the applicable Terms & Conditions and legal entities' contractual structure.
The job holder will present the business cases to the approval boards.
The job holder will support the commercial negotiations with the Customer to ensure that the profitability targets are reached.
The job holder will lead the Price Investigations for bids under his/her management as well as negotiate the final prices with Customers based on the results of the investigations.
The job holder will support the management of customer contracts including claims and waivers during contract execution in close cooperation with Country Sales and Business Lines and in alignment with Commercial & Contracts.

PERSONAL PROFILE:

Experience:

Experience in a similar job environment is desirable but not required.

Educational Qualifications:

Engineering degree or Business school degree.
MBA or other post graduate degree is desirable.

Technical knowledge:

Experience in pricing and financial models, Business Case and in price negotiations or experience in Customer Support services and its different disciplines.
Fluent in written and spoken English & Spanish, including fluency in communication using commercial and technical vocabulary.
Great analytical skills.
Experience in dealing with commercial matters.
Knowledge of military programmes and services would be beneficial.
Experience in working in crossfunctional teams.

Professional skills:

Excellent negotiation skills.
Ability to understand and interpret customer expectations and budgets availability.
Ability to challenge costing information and prepare Target Must Costs.
Ability to develop pricing strategies, including ability to assimilate different facts and opinions in determining innovative pricing solutions to satisfy a wide range of stakeholders.
Great understanding of commercial risk and capability to develop mitigation plans.

Ability to manage and cultivate important relationships.
Attention to detail, systematic behaviour and reliability are necessary, with personal aspirations for continuous improvement.
