Description


We are currently recruiting an
External Manufacturing MAKE Manager to be based in
Spain, Italy, France or Germany on a
permanent contract.


As an External Manufacturing MAKE Manager you will be responsible for the management and total supply performance of products supplied to EMEA markets sourced from External Manufacturers.

In this role, you will partner actively with internal and external business partners in the operations management of the the Contract Manufacturers, support the introduction of new products and the deployment of strategic initiatives across the EM space.


Key Responsibilities / Tasks
Operations Management

  • Build relationship with EM site leadership team and be the Primary point of contact for escalations, conflict resolution, project prioritization.
  • Ensure external partner operates within agreed GMP policies/procedures, and complies with contractual obligations, and meets target performance KPI/metrics.
  • Daytoday management of partner activities including delivery & supply, source changes, audits actions and change control. Provide onsite support & guidance as needed including problem resolution & training.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams and activities to resolve issues to support the operational aspects of product supply
  • Lead & develop medium and longterm supplier capability to develop reliable and compliant EM's
  • Support Supply Chain Performance monitoring and deployment of corrective actions
  • Manage & develop risk assessment overview ( on capacity, material management, asset reliability, inventory management ) for identified External Manufactures and implement preventive actions.
  • Implement for key suppliers' SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) methodology.
  • Lead periodically business reviews with External Manufacturers in partnership with the other functions involved in the process
  • Driving OEE improvements and participate to savings initiative
  • Account Plan Delivery and Expense management for EM
Project Management

  • Support and facilitate change projects at EM
  • Coordination of compliance improvement initiatives with External Manufacturers in collaboration with the Q&C team
  • Participate to Scouting, Due diligence, closure of due diligence gaps, facility readiness, technology transfer, regulatory readiness & supply/logistics and on boarding of new EM's in supply chain
Qualifications

  • Exposure to an international and crossfunctional environment combined with +4 years' experience on a similar position
  • Experience in the following areas: Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality, R&D, Project Management, Sourcing or Deliver
  • Process Excellence and Continuous improvement experience in Supply Chain and/or manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Experience working in the area of OTC products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics is preferred
  • Proven leadership / interpersonal skills, communication
