Job Overview:

As a Unigraphics Design Engineer at Xelvin, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of our products.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create high-quality 3D models, 2D drawings, and simulations using Unigraphics NX software.

Your creative and technical skills will contribute to the success of our projects and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:


Design Development:
Create 3D models and 2D drawings of components and assemblies using Unigraphics NX software.


Conceptualization:
Collaborate with product development teams to transform conceptual ideas into detailed design plans.


CAD Modeling:
Develop and maintain accurate CAD models, ensuring they comply with industry standards and company specifications.


Simulation and Analysis:
Perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.


Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless product development.


Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including design reports, technical drawings, and design change requests.


Prototype Support:
Provide assistance during the prototype manufacturing phase, addressing design-related issues and implementing necessary changes.


Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on emerging design technologies and methodologies, actively seeking opportunities to enhance design processes.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Unigraphics Design Engineer or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Unigraphics NX software and other CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to perform engineering analysis and simulations.
• Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge in the field of laser components is a plus
