As a Procurement Analyst, you will be responsible to plan and execute internal projects and programs and have the ability to carve and delegate appropriate tasks/functions to allow the internal team to operate effectively.

You will work closely with our broader finance functions and develop, analyze financial reports for the company. We look for individuals who possess and are interested in developing program and project management skills. This role relies heavily on cross functional relationships and data analytics.


AT SONDER YOU WILL:


  • Collaborates with business partners (Opening, Legal, FP&A, Sourcing etc.) to help them drive strategic business decisions pertaining top their org, city or function while maintaining high quality service standards
  • Gather and analyze key procurement data from Coupa and NetSuite using data collection techniques and create metrics in order to report results to business stakeholders across all levels along with meaningful recommendation.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of the ERP system (NetSuite) and Spend Management System (Coupa).
  • Closely work with the NS systems manager to troubleshoot issues arising from day to day business operations by leveraging knowledge of system integrations
  • Actively participate in discussions with procurement leadership and drive discussions for business plan and strategy development
  • Work closely with the Procurement systems manager to drive change management across cities for introduction of newer features and functionalities in the Spend Management System
  • Collaborate in implementation of Ironclad, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, along with Strategic Sourcing and Legal to ensure a smooth rollout and provide post go live support
  • Collaborate in implementation along with with business partners (City Teams, Cross Functional Teams, Accounts Payable, etc)
  • Derive and report insights from procurement analysis to affected stakeholders in the form of Spend Category Opportunity Assessments, Supply Market Business Profiles, Strategic Sourcing and Category Management Plans, and Negotiation Strategies, Savings Calculations, as needed
  • Measure and report the procurement team's performance against key management metrics
  • Manage various procurement projects that include the areas of purchasing, contracting, sourcing, and commodity management.
  • Lead discussions with business partners and suppliers to resolve issues that arise from daytoday business operations.
  • Define functional training requirements and accordingly develop training materials.
  • Develop innovative approaches to review procurement process effectiveness and explore logistics solutions for customers and suppliers.
  • Work as a liaison between procurement and legal team assisting in contract negotiations, redlining and end to end execution

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field strongly preferred, plus experience in Procurement (would also consider Supply Chain experience, if relevant).
  • Usage of NetSuite, Coupa and other eprocurement tools is preferred
  • Hospitality experience is preferred
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritize, be nimble, and selfdirected in a highly fluid and rapidly changing environment
  • Quick decision making and prioritization
  • Intermediate / advanced Excel skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Understanding of the A/P process
  • Start Date: ASAP
