About the team you are joining


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Agency Settlement Risk, you will be joining a self-motivated, highly independent, and talented team that is responsible for supporting agency risk management activities for IATA's financial settlement services, covering Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East, based in Madrid.

What your day would be like

Perform monthly monitoring of agents' Financial Security amounts versus amount sales at risk;
Handle the quarterly review for the agents with the large exposure;
Coordinate regular and ad-hoc Financial Review process for Passenger and Cargo Agents including review results, communicate with both Agents and the Global Financial Assessor and follow-up on results requirements;
Manage Financial Securities' related processes including request for provision, encashment, increase, reduction, renewal and release of bank guarantees, cash deposits and insurance bonds;
Follow up the Risk alerts generated by risk monitoring platforms and tools and proceed with the appropriate risk mitigation actions towards identified agents with high-risk profiles;
Recommend the Prejudice Collection of Funds process when ISS participants do not meet their obligations and agency Program requirements;
Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboard analysis of agents' sales trends to assist Local and Regional Offices to manage the local and regional forums (LCAGs, APJCs, EACP JC);

Communicate with external stakeholders including agents, airlines, banks, financial assessors, insurance companies and law firms about the spectrum of risk related matters.

We would love to hear from you if you have

A University degree in a relevant discipline;
Minimum 2 years of experience in a business support function, preferably in a multicultural environment;
Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly demanding environment while meeting tight deadlines;
Ability to set priorities, and work with speed with a strong customer focus and a high level of drive and energy

Excellent IT skills including MS office;
Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English;
Any other language would be a distinct advantage.
