As a result, we are supplying free-flow tolling roadside and back-office systems, in addition to operating Call Centers', Walk-in, and Welcome Centers' throughout the United States.

Job Purpose
The Chief Technology Officer reports to the CEO.

Makes executive technology decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a technology budget and making investments aligned to a vision for how technology will be used in the company.

CTO is a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development.

This is the highest technology executive position within the company and leads the technology unit working directly with the CEO.

CTO acts as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company.

This role is responsible for adopting company level strategy to the design and build of technological products, as well as the management of all day-to-day technology activities.

JOB Responsibilities

Make executive technology decisions on behalf of the company in line with company strategy, including managing the technology budget and making investment decisions accordingly. He/she is a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development.
Defines policies to deliver projects to clients (design and build phase), according to the scope of contracts and maintains a strategic overall view of all projects in delivery stage to control the program's progress.
Manages the technology team and resources to:
(1) develop products to support Company's growth strategy,

- (2) assist the sales team in preparing bids,
- (3) support the Regional Directors in the design and build of project delivery for clients, and
- (4) procure maintenance services to the products delivered to clients ensuring compliance with contractual SLAs.

Builds and lead a highperforming Technology and Engineering team function while empowering the team to achieve a high level of technical productivity and quality.
Builds Liaisons with external technological vendors and partners
Develops and nurtures internal & external stakeholder relationships to increase new business initiatives.

Requisitos mínimos

Education

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA, MSc or other relevant graduate degree.

Travel

30% including international travel.

Experience
- +15 years proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role.

Previous experience in managing international teams, USA preferably, and working in complex international organizational environments.
Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
Understanding of budgets and businessplanning.
Ability to conduct technological analysis and research.
