Overview:


The Expert will lead a part of Renewable Energy strategy execution using GPA contractacting to accelerate PEP+ in Energy across all scopes: PepsiCo owned manufacturing.


Main objective of the role is to enable the excellent execuition of Sustainability agenda in the given categories and delivery of long term price stability at low rsks through understanding of local markets needs, partnership relationships and alignement with stakeholders, sector Finance and Sustainability.


Responsibilities:


  • Acceleration reduction of GHG emission from NG usage (scope 1)
  • Define and deliver standardized approach across markets, taking learnings from UK pilot to deliver efficient roll out for new markets
  • Ensuring sustainable Solutions including circular economy with PEP waste stream embedded into process
  • AD plants expansion and playbook development for operational excellence
  • Compliance with future RE100 guidance and regulatory framework

  • CSRD reliable data for corporate submission, new requirements from 2024 onwards
  • Partner with developers and consultants to deliver best in class GPA projects in line with PEP roadmap
  • Align with stakeholders (SO and CFOs) PepsiCo acceptable quality and risks levels
  • Ensure competitive and stable biomethane sourcing in parallel to other thermal Energy sources (NG and H2)
  • Track legislative updates impacting current and future GPAs and onsite biomethane generators
  • Increase and maintain RE coverage from current average to 100% RE in all markets where commercially available
  • Effectively manage local stakeholders relations, capturing business needs and leading organization through change toward new ways of working with Procurement
  • Enable ongoing system, process, policies changes providing guidance and issues resolution to local stakeholders
  • Liase effectively with Sustainability Office, both sector and regional, enabling right process, customer service are in place and reflect on the local needs
  • Building partnership relations with functions and ensure procurement is involved at ealiest stage of procurement process
  • Ensure compliance of local procurement processes with PepsiCo rules & guidelines
  • Build personal procurement expertise in Energy identifying business needs, developing subcategories' market insights
  • Execute Global / EU strategies in Energy locally and all related changes

Qualifications:

Experience:


  • Deep understanding of biomethane market and PEP waste streams incl. supplier external wastestream
  • Good understanding of the principles of general procurement management
  • Good analytical skills, business acumen and knowledge of financial fundamentals
  • Project and change management for deployment of initiatives across variety of European markets and cultures
  • Capacity to build "high trust" relationships at all levels of the organization
