Our client is a
leading global provider of port and land-based cargo services with an international presence.
We are currently seeking a
PEOPLE BUSINESS PARTNER for them, a role characterized by its variety, offering you the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business in your designated geography.
You will operate within a dynamic environment, leveraging your broad HR toolbox to coach and support leaders through a time of significant business transformation.
Your daily responsibilities will include engaging with various stakeholders and utilizing your extensive HR knowledge to assist leaders with a range of people matters and policies.
This role will be a part of the Spanish People Partner Team, situated within the South West Europe business area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with HRBPs on the implementation of the People Strategy.
- Establishing strong relationships with leaders and their teams, serving as their primary point of contact and sparring partner on all peoplerelated matters.
- Driving the local delivery of the annual HR Cycle, encompassing annual performance management, compensation, succession planning, and development.
- Resolving employee relations issues, providing support and guidance to leaders on HRrelated matters and policies.
- Staying updated on the local employment law landscape to ensure compliance.
- Acting as a talent broker, facilitating the transfer of individuals within the organization to gain specific developmental experience.
- Extracting insights from available realtime reports to identify and address opportunities for improvement with leaders and local management.
- Conducting trainings and workshops for local leadership teams and various employee populations on various HR topics.
- Participating in onsite recruitment when necessary and coordinating and conducting employee activities required onsite, such as onboarding and training sessions.
- Solid experience (810 years) as an HR generalist and a deep understanding of HR fundamentals, including people performance management, employee engagement, compensation, development, and employee relations.
- Demonstrated passion for business by partnering with and supporting leaders to achieve business results.
- Advanced knowledge of local labor law.
- Experience in developing, safeguarding, and interpreting HR policies and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in large international organizations and the ability to build relationships and navigate a complex stakeholder matrix.
- Strong change management, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to take ownership and act autonomously, while also fostering cooperation and teamwork to find solutions.
- Flexibility and adaptability to deliver results in a fastpaced environment.
- Selfdriven, energetic, and possessing a 'cando' mindset.
