Assistant Manager - Fund Accounting

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting_
  • Maintaining accounting books of allocated portfolio of clients, review & validate financial statements/NAV calculations with mínimal senior supervision;
  • Timely and accurate processing/reconciling of all fund transactions;
  • Assist in monitoring of the ongoing reporting process (e.g. investor, client and regulatory reporting);
  • Liquidity Management incl. invoice processing/ coordination, monitoring of capital movements etc.
  • Preparation and implementation of entity customerspecific procedures in relation to the administration and reporting requirements;
  • Client relationship_
  • Build relationship ownership and be one of the main contacts for clients' and investors' requests;
  • Participate in coordination with clients, auditors and external providers on a regular basis;
  • Team_
  • Guiding junior staff members on preparation of accounts and other tasks;
  • Overall assistance in team management & workload allocation;
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as and when the opportunity presents itself;

Skills Required:

  • Degree in Accounting and Finance or similar;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial / alternative funds industry;
  • Good knowledge of alternative fund structures / asset classes (i.e. real estate, private equity, private debt);
  • Strong accounting knowledge of Private Equity/ Real Estate/ Private debt funds, Holding Companies, SPVs etc. (Lux GAAP / IFRS / NAV);
  • Experience in consolidation would be an advantage;
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel);
  • Fluent English is mandatory. Any other language would be an advantage.
