A newly developed role, the Group Product Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic direction, design, and delivery of Junior Adventures Group (JAG) Product Development.

Reporting to the Group General Manager - Product and Partnerships, you will be responsible for translating the product strategy into an executable plan helping to shape the product roadmap.


This is a rare opportunity for product development that can positively impact the social and emotional development of a generation of children.

JAG is a service for children and their families and continues to grow into new markets. This is an ideal role for an intentional and purposeful product development manager, who is motivated and innovative.


Our JAG product aims to redefine customers' expectations of the Outside School Hours landscape and reshape the delivery of morning, afternoon, wrap-around, and holiday programs across all markets.

It will ensure a scalable and high-quality offering that maximises commercial return via organic new school and attendance growth while meeting the needs of children, families, and school partners.

About the role
Utilising a best practice approach, the Group Product Manager will be responsible for executing product design, development, testing and individual market delivery including: Discovery, innovation, and ideas generation Prototype creation and market testing Clearly defined success metrics Go to market plan; launch for scale Product lifecycle methodology and process that will enable quick adaptation to evolving markets as required


Role responsibilities Translate product strategy into a detailed and executable plan by market incorporating local team involvement and execution Create New Product Development documents that describe the business case, any technical requirements, revenue, and ROI projections Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, service delivery and project management in the development, quality assurance and release of products.

Balance resources to ensure success Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates JAG across each market Establish, track, and provide visibility to key metrics and KPIs that enhance brand positioning globally and deliver sustained commercial growth

Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about JAG, but here are a few basics you'll need: Strong experience in a dynamic product management role and cross-function product development Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle, ideally in a service-based sector Experience in effectively influencing cross-functional teams, and working in agile project environments Experience in delivering finely tuned collaborative product and marketing strategies Strong writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills preferred Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in product design or another related field Australian work rights
