About Paysafe
Paysafe is looking for the
Head of Product for the Open Banking
EUROPE.


In this role you will help in the development and delivery of the product roadmap for Europe following strategy set out by executive leadership; You will be the final responsible of the product definition for the region and will serve as point of interaction between the business and the delivery group (development, business analysis, project management), and ensure business objectives are reflected in the product roadmap.


You will work in close collaboration with the commercial and operational teams to understand the needs of our existing and future customers and to ensure that we are efficient and customer-driven in our service proposition.


You possess deep knowledge of the payments industry in Europe; You have experience working in the Open Banking space for both, payments and data.

You are updated about industry trends and competitive landscape in Europe, as well as PSD2 regulation.

You have leadership skills and have managed teams before.

You can communicate with multiple groups at the appropriate level of information, as well as conduct knowledge transfer sessions and user training.


We are looking for someone who can maintain focus on strategic objectives and can combine them with efficiency and quality of delivery.

You must be able to motivate the team and extract the best of each of the professionals that will report to you.


What you'll do:
(Responsibilities)

  • You will lead several teams of Product Managers through the ideation, conceptualization, and delivery of Open Banking solutions
  • You will manage a diverse portfolio of solutions that combine payments and data functionalities. You manage the offering for both, B2B2B and B2B2C solutions.
  • You will develop the roadmap for building and advanced Open Banking platform that will operate in Europe exportable to other regions, balancing between global solutions customized to local requirements (customer, regulation, market, etc)
  • You will be responsible for driving the product strategy and definition for our internal pricing, cost and commissions in Europe
  • You are updated about PSD2 regulation
  • You develop an understanding of our customers and merchants in different business lines in different geographies and their needs and challenges through quantitative and qualitative customer research
  • You need to be the voice of the customer in every conversation. Attention to detail & focus on results are paramount
  • You'll work closely with engineering teams to create product delivery plans to achieve strategic and tactical goals
  • You'll work closely with business stakeholders, Engineering, Design/UX and Analytics teams to deliver products that deliver exciting merchant, partner, and consumer experiences
  • Work with BU leaders, stakeholders and product teams across the group to understand the needs of our internal customers and user groups

Business Travel to other Paysafe locations for cross-collaboration when necessary.

What you have:
(Skillset and Prior Experience)

  • Have demonstrated success in managing a large and diverse portfolio of products across the product management cycle from new product development to product retirement and sunsetting
  • Have a strong understanding and experience of Open Banking
  • Strong understanding of popular payment methods in Europe including Cards, Wallets, Bank Transfers & Alternate Payment Methods
  • Strong understand and prior experience building solutions leveraging on APIS
  • Prior experience working in a global company and driving transformation via a global roadmap
  • Experience working in a diverse, multicultural and global company is an added advantage
  • Decent technical knowledge and excellent verbal and written communication skills with a capacity for articulation
  • You can handle aggressive timelines and aren't rattled by technological complexities
  • You like creating things from scratch and flexible to manage uncertainty

Qualifications

  • Engineers with a business background or a business degree are preferred
  • Experience: 810 years in a product management, ideally in Open Banking or ACH products
  • Familiarity with A2A payments and other payment methods (cards and APMS)
  • Execution: A process and document driven thinker with excellent organizational and management skills and the ability to lead and manage timesensitive, crossfunctional initiatives in a fastpaced environment with little supervision.
  • English and Spanish required
