Operations Lead, TMT Consulting

The Team:

TMT Consulting provides custom engagements for S&P Global Market Intelligence clients as well as partnering with other S&P Global divisions on digital transformation engagements.

We are a global team of business development, project management, and delivery consultants that work closely with clients to provide them with the insights needed to make well-informed decisions for market entry, M&A, and sales strategy.

The Impact:

The Operations Lead is a critical role in connecting our business development pipeline of incoming opportunities and our revenue delivery process.

The role combines process, tools, and reporting to steer TMT Consulting and our peer organizations such as Commercial and Product.

What's in it for you:

The Operations Lead role offers the opportunity to work across Technology, Media and Telecommunications business line, as well as the broader Market Intelligence division, to optimize how we deliver consulting value to clients.

In addition to the TMT Consulting team, you will collaborate with Commercial, Product, Research, Data and the executives with the business line to develop key metrics, tools and processes needed to scale the business.

Responsibilities:

Automate capture and reporting of key metrics of the operations of TMT Consulting (Salesforce, Smartsheet, etc).

Identify and solve order management issues with how consulting projects are booked/billed.

Design scalable pricing, product codes, and CPQ logic to ensure consulting projects are scoped, priced and sold correctly.

Optimize and refine existing processes from lead to project completion for margin optimization with least number of steps.

What We're Looking For:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience working with a global team with different styles and customs, professional roles in operations management, designing operational metrics and the tools and processes necessary to achieve them.

Experience with Salesforce required, and Smartsheet preferred. Educational background in data analysis or business management.
