    Job Description

    The Housekeeping Management Trainee role plays a crucial part in helping us deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.

    We are looking for a proactive and organized individual who shares our vision of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky, and pioneering wellness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Public Area Management: Assist in overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of public spaces to meet luxury standards.
    • Room Cleaning Supervision: Participate in managing room cleaning operations, learning best practices for efficiency and quality assurance.
    • Laundry Operations Coordination: Support laundry services, gaining insights into processes for managing linens and guest laundry effectively.
    • Housekeeping Coordination: Collaborate with housekeeping coordinators to manage Hosts schedules, room assignments, and communication between departments.
    • Supervisory Training: Shadow housekeeping supervisors to learn about team management, staff training, and performance evaluations.
    • Quality Control Leadership: Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to uphold cleanliness and service standards.
    • Inventory Management: Assist in overseeing the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
    • Guest Relations: Engage with guests to understand their preferences and address any housekeeping-related requests.
    • Health and Safety Compliance: Understand and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you should be currently studying a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field.

    You will possess excellent organizational skills, an intuitive sense of product and service quality, and a passion for excellence.

    Technical skills include Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as familiarity with various hotel systems and terminology related to Housekeeping and Laundry.
