The Senior Human Resources Generalist performs a broad range of HR-related duties and works closely with HR management in supporting a subset of employees across the EMEA region.

This position carries out responsibilities in the areas of senior level talent acquisition, investigations, policy interpretation and enforcement, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, benefits and reporting, and employment law compliance in accordance with quality management principles and overall objectives of the Company.

This role will also take the lead on the roll out of HR initiatives and systems.

The Senior Human Resources Generalist provides excellent customer service to internal and external client groups through professional and timely communications.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administers various Human Resources plans, programs, that support an engaged highperformance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and goal attainment.
  • Participates in developing department goals, practices, and systems.
  • Responsible for recruitment of assigned positions and facilitates employee onboarding and orientation.
  • Serves as primary resource for employees and management on interpretation and enforcement of Company policies and procedures.
  • Handles complex employee relations issues, manages investigations and outlines recommended steps for resolution for review and approval by Human Resources Director.
  • Mentors and supports junior members or interns on the HR team in EMEA.
  • Attends HR and leadership meetings as necessary
  • Provides performance management training and support to employees and managers.
  • Maintains employee files and records including HRIS records and other records management systems. Compiles reports from hardcopy document or databases as needed.
  • Works with Benefits team to coordinate benefitsrelated activities. Conducts employee presentations and assists employee and Benefits team with processing changes within deadlines.
  • Oversees leave of absence management including HRIS tracking and in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Assists with planning and executing Company activities including annual events and HRrelated activities.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
  • Coordinates separation of employees including conducting exit interviews, notifying appropriate parties within the organization, and responding to external agencies.
  • Makes recommendations for continuous improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws and regulations affecting human resources management, identifying trends that could impact organizational objectives and/or operational resources.
  • Follows Company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years Human Resources experience with at least 2 as an HR Generalist.
  • Thorough knowledge of general HR practices across a variety of EMEA countries.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Must have effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Spanish, English, and French language abilities are preferred.

  • Must be able to travel, as necessary.
  • The role is hybrid with work from home options based in Spain.
