Fluor Plant Engineering is part of Fluor Corporation based in the U.S., a professional and technical solutions provider focusing on Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Maintenance (EPCM) with more than employees and 34 offices in 50 different countries worldwide.

Fluor offers Project Management and EPCM support in all phases of the project life-cycle based on the following three business groups:


  • Energy Solutions
  • Urban Solutions
  • Mission Solutions
  • Fluor Plant Engineering office is part of the E&C Energy Solutions Sustaining Capital Projects Business Line.
  • We are looking for an I&CS Engineer to support the regional team (Spain) in Client-Site location at La Pobla de Mafumet, Tarragona.
  • This position supports the E&I department on assigned projects through the following Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and check routine calculations, specify simple equipment, and solve problems of simple engineering complexity
  • Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution
  • Participate in equipment and material procurement activities
  • Adhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures
  • Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
  • Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including (but not limited to & role dependant) education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications and Global Watchlist screening.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Basic Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or equivalent in engineering field.
  • 03 years of relevant working experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.

Other Job Requirements

  • Software skills: Autocad and/or MicrostationKnowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (Intools/Prodok) will be valued.
