The Role

At Creators International School (Creators), we believe that studying humanities is the key to understanding our past, our present and our future. We believe that by delving into the causes and effects of historical events, such as revolutions, wars, and inventions, students can develop critical thinking skills, a global perspective, and a deep knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of human society.

We seek a visionary humanities teacher with an unwavering passion for developing innovative learning through nurturing technology, research and inquiry skills, knowledge and understanding, and who will inspire and guide our students in humanities subjects. You will also be responsible for fostering students' passion for learning, and creating an engaging and dynamic classroom environment, where students feel empowered to develop their humanities skills, apply them effectively and realise their dreams and aspirations. You will also nurture a spirit of entrepreneurism and creativity to enable our students to be the pioneers of tomorrow.

Person Profile and Qualifications

· Fluency in written and spoken English is essential

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Geography, Economics or Business or another humanities field

· Valid Teaching Qualification - PGCE/BEd or equivalent, EU-recognised preferred.

· Strong experience in international schools, with experience of teaching humanities, including a track record of success in international examinations.

· Strong knowledge of, and experience of teaching inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based and research skills, and their application in real-world contexts.

· Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.

· Accomplished in using technology and digital tools to enhance learning and teaching.

· Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in humanities education.
