Indeed, we are at the cornerstone of flows of money between Airlines, Travel Agencies and Passengers using Amadeus system.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you'll be managing the development of Amadeus Payment Solutions platform, including the analysis of user needs, code design, testing, debugging, as well as documenting and maintaining software solutions.

You will also be fully embedded in an agile team (scrum) part of the Gateway Agile Release Train working closely with Product Definition Analysts and QA Engineers.

Key accountabilities:

Manage each stage of product development cycle Apply best practices on code quality and security-safe code through non-functional requirements masteryInvestigate, analyze, and provide recommendations on the root causes of complex software and system defectsConduct Unit test, component and product test of the software to ensure high quality levelParticipate in validation phase and support team in charge of validationIdentify improvements and ensure sustainable evolution of the software architectureFoster innovation and operational performance in deployment of new functionalities, services, and technologies Improve project delivery and provide recommendations for process improvementEstablish technical standard and drive engineering practicesIdentify new solutions and opportunities in Amadeus' service offeringsServe as engineering champion and collaborate with cross-functional teams Drive engagement as well as operational and service excellence on cross-functional teamsContribute to R&D cultural transformation and talent development by coaching and mentoring team membersAbout the ideal candidate You have a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in software development in C++.Experience in other technologies such as Java, Oracle, Azure, Kafka is a plus.

Experience working in Agile frameworks is a plus.
Understanding of payments and/or travel industry is a plus.#LI-EMEA
