To this end, we offer one position to join the team as an
Assembly Process Engineer.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
The
Assembly Process Engineer is responsible for the definition of cell assembly process of Basquevolt's semi-solid proprietary Li-ion cells.
The Engineer will work closely with the Process Engineering Manager & Director to accomplish the process defined targets.

  • Calibrate and validate an assembly line.
  • Perform postfabrication assessments to validate the quality and reproducibility of the assembly.
  • Train new users on the line's various machines.
  • Participate in the expertise of the cells and suggest points of correction that can be applied to the line.
  • Participating in the selection and validation of new battery assembly machines.


The
Assembly Process Engineer is expected to work as a key team member within the Process Engineering department to provide innovative solutions to process and manufacturing definition of Basquevolt cell solutions.

Applicants should have a high degree of initiative and should be open to intense interdisciplinary collaboration, first in an early-stage start-up but moving progressively to an efficient mid-size organisation.


The **Assembly
Process Engineer** should have experience in the development and manufacturing of lithium-ion battery, ideally within a corporate organization.

Specifically, we will assess expertise in the following aspects:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Liion battery manufacturing.
  • Experience in battery products (LFP / NMC cathode, graphite anode, etc...).
  • Experience in battery/chemistry expertise.
  • Experience in mechanical piece assembly.
  • Experience in mechanical stress expertise.
  • Applicants should be fluent in English. Spanish or any other European language will be a plus.
  • Uses good problemsolving techniques to identify root cause. Implements actions to eliminate further occurrences.
