THE OPPORTUNITY

As a member of the team, you'll play an active role in understanding and following up on key market dynamics of the tobacco industry in Spain, developing proposals for PMI products based on insights and in close collaboration with different local and regional departments as well as defining and executing plans to pursue these opportunities and achieve the company's strategic goals of growth and profitability.

You will also be responsible for preparing regular reports to senior management, presenting your findings and recommendations, and keeping them informed of the company's progress towards its goals.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Some specific accountabilities include:

Provide full analysis and commentary of the market dynamics of the tobacco industry, tracking its progress and development, analysing PMI sales data as well as any behavior or similar metrics to capture relevant business insights;
Building and maintaining relationships with key PMI stakeholders by collaborating with crossfunctional teams, acting as a business partner by providing finance guidance through business modelling to assist in decision making on key strategies for the Spanish market and PMI;
Supporting the forecasting process of volumes, share of market and financials by incorporating key insights and strategies from the business as well as building a narrative for main movements and deviations;
Understanding the P&L in order to track and monitor key financial metrics as well as communicating key drivers to the EU Finance team in order to ensure the company's growth and financial viability;
Regularly presenting and discussing with senior management regarding the company's progress towards its goals and making recommendations for future action.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor or Master's degree in business, economics or other field with strong academic results
Prior relevant experience in similar roles/industry
Proficiency in Excel and Power Point are instrumental for data analysis and presentations (knowledge of analytical tools e.g. R, Python, SQL, Power BI is a plus but not required)
Excellent analytical & problemsolving skills as well as a proactive & curious attitude, delivering high quality results in an efficient manner under time constraints
Good interpersonal skills, frequently displaying leadership and teamorientation
Great English communication abilities in both verbal and written form, including the ability to interact effectively at all levels of a large international organization
Spanish B2 minimum
EU Work Permit
