DESCRIPTION:

The main responsibilities of the position will be:

Implement valorisation mechanisms to evaluate the commercialization pathways of project results.
Development of plans for exploitation and transfer towards promoting links with industry.
Provide support to create Spinoff companies.
Foster an entrepreneurial spirit within the R&D line.
Provide support to maximize business value (develop solid business plans).
Communication actions to increase the visibility of R&D capabilities and commercial assets.
Identify partners/customers and events of international relevance within the target sector (congresses, fairs, etc.).
Management of the intellectual and industrial property portfolio of the Institute, including protection, valorisation and licensing.
Provide support to implement an Industrial Advisory Council.
Participate in the R&D proposals team to design exploitation and IP strategies.
Manage the technical secretariat of the Spanish Technological Platform of Advanced Materials and Nanomaterials.

REQUIREMENTS:

PhD degree related to materials science or engineering.

At least five years of experience in a similar position.

At least three years of experience in managing the technical secretariat of technological platforms.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Fluent in English (both spoken and written). Certified C1 level.

Proactive, dynamic and self-motivated.

Training in IPR and technology transfer will be an asset.

CONDITIONS:

4 years contract with full social security coverage.

Retribution according to professional experience and knowledge achieved.

Immediate incorporation.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The working language of the Institute is English. Full command of the English language is required in all positions.
