We are now looking for a

Product & Design Engineer
to join our Seals and torque transmission components team. The position is permanent. The location for the position is in Porriño, Spain.

What will you be doing

In this position, your role involves providing support for sales orders, collaborating with internal departments, actively participating in the design process, and maintaining strong communication with clients to ensure a seamless and satisfactory experience.

You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support of colleagues and line manager.

As Product & Design Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance existing products, solutions, and technical documentation.
Generate accurate and specific design information for products and solutions in accordance with established standards.
Work closely with internal engineering departments to ensure effective communication and coordination in achieving project objectives.

Participate in interdepartmental meetings to facilitate seamless information exchange and contribute to project efficiency.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support the integration of feedback to optimize product designs, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
Provide technical support to other departments, offering expertise in resolving engineering challenges.
Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized processes to enhance overall design efficiency.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

Have a good understanding of vessel propulsion systems, showing familiarity with their workings.
Bring experience working with hydraulic and mechanical equipment to the role.
Work independently, demonstrating the ability to handle tasks with mínimal supervision.
Possess knowledge of design tools, particularly with experience in Inventor and other informatic design tools.

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
