The scope of the role belongs to Digital Sourcing, in the Bedbank division in Hotelbeds group. This role reports to the Regional Market Manager. They are divided in geographical areas and/or hotel chains (depending of the location of the chain headquarter) or clusters.


The Market Manager develops and establishes relationships with suppliers, strategically manages inventory (mainly competitiveness and availability) and handles large, non-core portfolios.

The main responsibility is to get the best contracting conditions and maximize benefits.

Special conditions:

  • Market Managers could work locally or homebased.
The usual career path is to be promoted to a Core Contract Manager role or any leadership role, given the right skill set and previous expertise.


Accountabilities:

  • Negotiating and contracting renewal conditions: rate, inventory, offers, release periods, marketing contributions, overrides, cancellation policy by conducting virtual contacts by call or Teams.
  • Act as the remote key point contact for accommodation supplier vendors to maintain the relationship for matters related to contracting, operational, commercial or financial activities
  • Upload low complexity contracts, promote uploading and updating of quality contents by hotels through Maxiroom (HBG Extranet)
  • Ensure delivery of full and correct hotel contents to the OSC.
  • Explain tools and procedures to suppliers providing real time and video recorded training, creating materials and contact support information.
  • Ensure suppliers comply with Health&Safety quality requirements assisting our H&S specialist agents
  • Prioritize and turn around campaigns and opportunities received through Saleforce
  • Understand, analyze and identify business trends and opportunities in the destination from region ́s trading report, destination news and events.
  • Acquisition of new hotels

Requirements & Skills:

  • Education: University degree (Tourism will be desirable)
  • Languages: Native or bilingual level of the local language, very advanced level of English
  • Experience: 24 years of experience
  • Knowledge: MS Office: advanced level
