Quality Technician/Quality Inspector

Description
We are selecting a Quality Technician to join our team in Accelera Guadalajara (Electrolyzers

  • Green Hydrogen)


She/He will create value for their assigned site by leading continuous improvement projects towards defect-free processes that satisfy customer needs and achieve business results.


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Ensures products received or produced meet technical specifications and trains others. Works under mínimal supervision.
  • Verifies the final quality of products on the production line.
  • Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
  • Separates products that do not meet the desired technical specification, using basic and/or complex measurement techniques and equipment.
  • Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems.
  • Trains others in the use of measurement equipment, segregation of nonconforming product and documentation.
  • Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the Company.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or onthejob experience.
  • Support and active participation in internal process development. Q product plan partitipation. Interaction with suppliers. First contact for NCR coming from suppliers.

Skills

  • Measurement Science
  • Analyzes measurement processes throughout the relevant traceability chain to identify and quantify sources of measurement uncertainty relevant to the appropriate applied measurement science, "Metrology" e.g. Chemical, Dimensional, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical and Radiation and Physical.


  • Laboratory Management

  • Leads technical resources while managing the business aspects of a laboratory using measure to control both the technical and business aspects of the organization and assuring the requirements of the appropriate certifications and/or accreditations are met.


  • Quality Process Management

  • Applies and manages methods (e.g. SPC, Capability studies, Layered Process Audit, inspection, test) to ensure quality of Cummins products, processes, and services.
  • Customer focus, Action oriented, Communicates effectively, Resourcefullness, Collaborates, Conflict Management.
