    System & Application Robotics Service Lead

    In this position, you will be supervising a team of Project Managers and Commissioning Engineers working with system service related to ROBOTICS products, function packages, cells and systems, delivered by ABB as a turnkey solution, including, but not limited to: process consulting, process improvement upgrades (including robot replacement), productivity improvement and change
    orders executed after the commissioning and factory acceptance by the customers in Customer Service Business line in Spain.

    You will help to execute the Service strategy and boost growth by focusing on delivering timely, high-quality, and cost-effective service offerings, solutions, and projects. You will drive excellence through effective planning and allocation of resources in accordance with processes, procedures, and guidelines.

    As System & Application Robotics Service Lead you will lead the growth of each member of the team, promoting ABB values & License to Operate. Collaborate closely with Service Sales team to achieve annual budget assigned, preparing campaigns, analyzing the market, preparing proposals, project risk analysis and take decision to reach the objectives.

    Your responsibilities

    • Allocating and monitoring work on projects based on scope, delivery time, competencies, and workload – effectively utilizing resources through proper planning and scheduling.
    • Building sustainable customer relationships and utilizing feedback to drive consistent development of processes and practices.
    • Exceeding customer expectations by understanding and anticipating current and potential needs.
    • Implementing Health, Safety & Environment directives and ensuring instructions and regulations are communicated within the team, while monitoring and reporting progress and results
    • Working with others to push service productivity improvement activities, streamlining Service processes and applications to support customers.
    • Ensuring that the System & Application Service in Robotics is properly organized, resourced and supervised, with team members certified in line with global certification and local regulations
    • Reviewing competence levels to ensure that people are appropriately qualified to handle the jobs assigned to them.
    • Developing proactive strategies/initiatives to increase profitable growth, customer satisfaction, operational effectiveness in system and application service.
    • Leading the team of proposal, engineering, and project management, drive productivity, delivery performance and cost optimization to achieve business targets.
    • Driving the business growth in tight collaboration with peers from CS, local business lines and global CS management team
    • Developing a customer centric and continuous improvement culture. Improving service technology, competence, capabilities, business processes and procedures in line with the business strategy
    • Ensuring health, safety, and integrity as a license to operate with adequate processes. Controlling, sharing functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
    • Driving people and organization development in nurturing talents, engaging, and motivating teams within a collaborative environment.

    Your background

    • 8+ years of experience in ABB Robotic Services working as Project Manager with ABB robots in productivity improvement projects.
    • Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing ABB robots.
    • Sound Financial Business understanding.
    • Proven and strong communication, influencing, stakeholder management and change management skills.
    • Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
    • Fluency in both Spanish and good knowledge in English
