The company is an industry-leading, progressive and environmentally conscious Renewable Energy Company dedicated to providing efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective energy solutions in the solar sector only.

The company is already present at a wide international level, and offers solutions such as EPC, O&M, and SCADA.

As part of their growth and development, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Project Engineer to join their team.

the role of Solar Procurement Coordinator will manage and operate a variety of activities including tendering, and delivering fixed and flexible energy procurement services.

Liaising with clients and energy suppliers, you will provide a best in class service, meeting deadlines and monitoring developments in the energy markets that are likely to affect contract energy prices.

In addition, you will be responsible for setting client budgets in line with their risk appetite and will lead the day-to-day management of your client's supply contracts.

Core activities include:

Lead, manage and negotiate utility tenders
Implement effective purchasing strategies for Fixed/Flexible supply contracts
Develop and maintain customer and supplier relationships
Take a lead role in delivering and developing our energy and water procurement services
Lead tenders and assist in closing deals within commercial parameters
Closing contracts between client and supplier. This will involve managing the customers' expectations during a tender and negotiating the price with the supplier to close the deal.
Proactively track the market and ensure indicators and market intelligence are acted upon and disseminated into energy supply activities and purchasing strategies.
Take full account management responsibility for a new portfolio
Sustained engagement with new and existing clients to fully understand their energy procurement requirements
Oversee and fully implement work already undertaken in establishing working partnerships with new suppliers to the market
Maintain customer service levels to the client service level agreements
Any other procurement duties as required by the Manager

Skills and Knowledge

35+ years of tendering for energy contracts (esssential)
35+ years of energy trading experience (desirable)
Adept in the use of Microsoft Office package (especially Excel)
Able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines and manage the expectations of project stakeholders
Excellent numerical reasoning and problemsolving skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Able to organise and prioritise workloads
