TASKS:


  • Assure plant compliance to established corporate standards
  • Assist in the coordination of all quality related actions (inprocess, finished product, and formulation changes) for new product launches, factory tests, specification changes, or product improvement efforts
  • Manage quality assurance personnel as assigned including training and developing the team and conducting performance reviews
  • Actively support the plant safety program and promote QA employee participation in safety and property conservation efforts
  • Develop and deliver QA training to all employees throughout the plant with support of the department
  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • Approve inprocess production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
  • Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for rework; confirming rework
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarising rework and waste; inputting data into quality database
  • Quality control at the production plant

WORKING HOURS:


  • 30 hours per week

LANGUAGES:


  • English (at least B2)
  • Spanish (at least A2)
