    Your contribution:
    • Provide legal support and advice to the company on various legal matters for Clarios Spanish entities.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Reports to the General Counsel EMEA with critical input from the Chief Legal Officer.
    • This position is based in Burgos, Spain.
    • Key Responsibilities:
      • Offer legal advice and support to various departments, including sales, procurement, human resources, finance, and marketing.
      • Manage specific customer relationships as Business Partner identified by the GC EMEA.
      • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements such as supply agreements, distribution contracts, procurement contracts, and other contracts relevant to the automotive industry.
      • Advise on and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
      • Provide practical, business-savvy counseling in all areas of commercial transactions.
      • Assist in managing legal disputes and litigation matters, including working with external counsel and advising on strategy.
      • Develop, implement, and maintain corporate policies and procedures.
      • Support M&A and other corporate transactions, including conducting due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and coordinating with external advisors.
      • Lead in updating forms, developing tools, playbooks, and processes.
      • Provide legal training to employees to promote a culture of compliance and legal awareness.
      • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the contract review process and implement best business practices.
      • Collaborate across regions with other members of the legal department, outside counsel, and other legal resources, taking the lead on project implementation.
      • Offer general legal and compliance support to the business in Spain under the General Counsel EMEA's guidance.
      • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
        • A Law degree (University / State examination or equivalent); admission to practice law in Spain is a plus.
        • 3 years of transactional experience, preferably in the automotive/manufacturing industry, a reputable law firm, or a corporate legal department of a multi-national corporation.
        • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in commercial transactions and Spanish labor/employment law.
        • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
        • Team player with a proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to collaborate across departments.
        • Ability to build positive relationships with management and other members of the legal team, influencing outcomes positively.
        • Familiarity working within a matrix environment for multiple and diverse business functions and organizations.
        • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
        • Experience managing external counsel.
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
        • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, meet tight deadlines, and make sound judgment calls under pressure.
        • Expertise in corporate law is a plus.
        • Willingness to travel up to 20% of working time.
