The Job You Will Perform:


  • Support managers in all HR processes at plant level, deploying the company's people strategy for your scope in all its aspects (staffing, organization change, training, labor relations/negotiations, compensation & benefits etc.)
  • Provide guidance to managers on company policies and legal provisions in the HR field
  • Assist the Site Manager on all labor related topics, including hiring and staffing, contracts negotiation, separations, labor relations etc., together and with the support of your direct manager
  • Establish and maintain a good relation with the unions and handle queries regarding working conditions, EHS, and employees' wellbeing, acting as a single point of contact
  • Drive recurrent company HR processes such as yearly performance evaluation, people development objectives planning and engagement planning
  • Act as the first point of contact for labor related enquiries from employees in your scope and redirect, if needed, said enquiries to the right department/office
  • Provide line managers with the methodology and the tools needed to help them effectively build and manage their teams. Support them in motivating the people in their organization and in creating a positive work environment
  • Ensure the effective use of HR platforms and IT systems, providing training to team members when needed
  • Cooperate with payroll to ensure a timely and efficient update of HR information systems and platforms, optimizing data accuracy
  • Identify areas of improvement in administrative procedures and IP processes, implementing appropriate solutions with the aim of optimizing efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Promote International Paper ́s values and culture within the plant, acting as an ambassador for the company's vision and mission
  • Develop internal and external communication plans with the aim of creating a positive climate and high engagement, supporting management in the deployment of the actions agreed upon at every level of the organization
  • Create and maintain relationships with the local community and promote International Paper ́s image in local events/initiatives/projects

The Skills You Will Bring:


  • Degree in law, labor relations, human resources management, political/social sciences, psychology, or equivalent
  • 3 yearsexperience in a similar position, preferably within the industrial/manufacturing sector


  • English C

  • Availability to relocate within Spain
