Biofrontera is an independent German pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and sale of dermatological drugs and medical cosmetics.
The Biofrontera Group was founded in 1997 and is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
Besides Germany we have operations in key European markets like Spain and the UK and market our product through partners elsewhere.
Our core activity is focussed on photodynamic therapy (PDT) for the treatment of certain superficial skin cancers and their precursors (actinic keratosis) where we supply both a topical prescription drug and a medical device used in the treatment.
Your tasks will include:
- You will report to the Spanish Country manager
- You will be responsible to drive sales in your territory by selling to existing customers (dermatologists) and by opening new accounts
- Developing long lasting relationships with customers by providing value adding services and solutions
- Reporting about customer activity and new potential opportunities. Gathering insights and analyzing available information to identify strategic opportunities to report to the country manager.
- Providing technical support to the medical device component of the treatment such as software updates or maintenance
- You will liaise with often complex networks of stakeholders for the delivery of excellent customer service. You contribute to regular marketing and business plans and liaise closely with our Medical Department.
- Consistingly operate according to Biofrontera ́s standards of conduct and all applicable regional regulations.
- You will establish and maintain contact with opinion leaders and KOLs in dermatology to the highest standards.
- You will contribute with other business critical projects as defined by local and corporate senior management.
- You will participate in national, regional congresses and other relevant events related to dermatology.
Your experience, qualifications and requirements
- Experience in selling medical devices
- Ability to work both independently and within a team setting towards meeting established objectives.
- Welldeveloped written and oral communication and presentation skills, with strong commercial and negotiation skills in Spanish.
- Good verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with colleagues and external contacts (i.e. physicians, specialist nurses, hospital pharmacists and office staff) at all levels, demonstrating the awareness and understanding of their needs and responding with the appropriate action.
- Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time. Occasional weekend work on congresses & events.
- Team spirit and a proactive, solutionoriented approach to tasks and objectives.
