The Role

This position is part of a team responsible for the operational support of the International Insurance Claim Department. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the claim technical staff with the handling of claim files.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Receiving, indexing and distribution of claim correspondence, in all formats, to the appropriate parties.
  • Processing payments and other financial transactions.
  • Receiving new losses, verifying accuracy of information via coverage and completing data entry of initial file setup.
  • Performing quality review analysis of claim data for accuracy in accordance with established procedures and internal controls.
  • Document management and entering data in various reinsurance claim systems.
  • Providing operational support to Claim management, Claim technical staff and our internal and external customers.
  • Work experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry.
  • Knowledge of claims processes.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.-
  • Language skills: Good English (written and oral) required.
Additionally, outstanding fluency in one of the following languages will be required:
French, German, Dutch.
