What are we looking for?
As an HR Coordinator, you will be in charge of recruitment, training, development, prevention risk and payroll processes. Including the full life cycle of recruiting you will be directly involved in the attraction, development and employee retention.

Training: All the training required by the standards of Hilton, by the Spanish legislations and by the needs of the employees in order to improve the service provided to our guest, as well as involvement with metrics and classroom facilitation. Helps drive company values and philosophy and ensures all activities are operating in the hotel and aligned with Company vison and standards. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and Standard Operating Procedures. Assist with the effective implementation of HR and Training initiatives including but not limited to the Code of Conduct and all mandatory learning activities.

Payroll: You will be the contact person for all personnel as well as payroll-related topics. You will be the contact between employees and the labour relations consultancy. Close cooperation with the Accounting department for the processing payroll. Preparation of employment contracts.

Prevention Risk: Coordinate actions with the External Prevention Service in relation to the safety and health of workers and in compliance with the required regulations. Health and Safety Committee, coordinate prevention in External Companies, EPIS, Health Surveillance, labour audits...

Development: you will take care of the development side within the Hilton team. Coordinate with the HR team the performance annual review and analyst the results.

Others tasks: Maintain employee communication including notice boards and other communication platforms, update employee database as necessary, working hours schedule, attendance controls, assist the HR Manager in audits


Desired Skills and Expertise:


As a HR Coordinator is essential to have previous experience in a similar position and to have a high level of English and Spanish.

It will be desirable to have experience in any of the brands of Hilton Worldwide.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
  • Previous user of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized and efficient approach required.
  • Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure best business results.
  • Hospitality experience is an advantage.
  • HR Qualification / Studying for an HR qualification.
  • At least three years of experience working as a Human Resources Administrator in a 4/5* property.
  • Bachelor Degree in Admin or HR Related field.
  • Team player with excellent planning, organizing skills and excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Good understanding of labour laws.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to priorities.
  • Interpersonal with good communicative skills.
