Descripción

JENSEN LOCALIZATION is currently looking to recruit one or two translator interns for a period of 3-6 months.

We can offer you a focused internship in the intense and very dynamic translation business.

You will receive free training in the industry's most innovative CAT tools and will gain an insight into what it means and takes to work as a professional translator.

Would you like to check what the advantages of running your internship with us could be?

  • You will combine practical work experience with a stay abroad in the sunny Spain
  • You will be part of a dynamic team
  • You will have the opportunity to practice your professional skills
  • You will learn what the different job roles within the translation business are
If you find any of the above interesting, then the internship position at JENSEN is something for you definitively.

The intern's primary function will be to carry out translation projects from English into your mother tongue, but there is also an opportunity to learn other skills like, for instance, creative writing within copywriting tasks, project coordination or vendor management tasks.

We are primarily interested in students, who have Translations Studies with a focus on the English language, or Language Studies.

Some knowledge of Spanish is a bonus but not a requirement, as we use English as working language.

Why doing an internship?

Working as an intern is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience as well as create networks and achieve coherence between theory and practice.

An internship is therefore a valuable contribution to your CV and can be "the little extra" that sets you apart from the crowd.

What can JENSEN LOCALIZATION offer you?

We can offer you relevant work experience and to give you a taste of what a career in the translation industry entails.

In addition to interesting and challenging work tasks, you will receive a thorough introduction and continuous training by our experienced employees.

You will learn how to use the main CAT tools used by the translation business, especially a deep training in MemoQ and SDL Trados Studio, the two market leading CAT tools in the industry, which you will work with daily.
