Job Description:


As a SysAdmin you will be responsible for the operations of our platform, in particular the corporate services like SSO/Authentication (Active Directory, LDAP, etc), backup management, file and resource sharing, etc.


You will be also responsible of the physical resources assigned and their respective datacenters, the VMWare virtualization policies, the physical and virtual server management under all their aspects, the licensing management and the migration of the services to cloud infrastructure (AWS).


Furthermore the team is responsible for the management of all the resources used by the Corporate Applications (ERP, HR tool, Business Intelligence apps, etc) like Windows or Linux hosts, databases, file servers, NAS, proxies, etc.

Continuous improvement and high focus on Security topics, and all the projects related to these, completes the role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve our Corporate Platform
  • Manage the resources assigned to ensure efficiency and performance
  • Support Applications Engineering teams providing resources and solutions
  • Drive the services migration to cloud adapting the transition plan to the business objectives and the budget assigned
  • Strict cooperation with Security team during periodical audits and implement the required changes

Qualifications:


  • Extensive knowledge creating, managing and supporting Windows server from version 2012 to the latest one
  • Extensive knowledge creating, managing and supporting VMware clusters (ESXI and vCenter from version 6 to the latest one)
  • Extensive knowledge creating, managing and supporting Linux servers (Ubuntu from 20.04 to the latest one, Centos 7 and 8)
  • Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, security policies, DNS, DFS
  • More than 3y experience infrastructure as a code using Terraform and Ansible (preferred Gitlab for CI/CD pipelines)
  • More than 3y experience maintaining systems updated and fix security bugs (WSUS, Linux and VMware updates)
  • More than 3y experience managing an antivirus system (preferred McAfee)
  • More than 3y experience monitoring, logging and troubleshooting (preferred Grafana, Graylog, Site24x7)
  • More than 3y experience server hardware support and maintenance (HP DL, iLO)
  • Good knowledge of Backup systems (preferred Veeam)
  • Good knowledge of SAN and NAS (preferred HP, Pure storage and QNAP)
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux scripting
  • Good knowledge of load balancing (HAProxy)
  • Good knowledge of mailing systems (Postfix)
  • Good knowledge of SSO methods (ADFS)
  • Good knowledge of Windows file servers
  • Base networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switch, firewalling)

Desirable

  • Knowledge of AWS cloud
  • Knowledge of Radius server
  • Knowledge of Windows print servers
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server database
  • Knowledge of Oracle database
