Founded in 1972 in the United Kingdom, our first international school opened in 1992 in Warsaw, followed by rapid growth across the world since the 2000s.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

To provide medical care to students, teachers and staff of the school.

  • To give medical attention to students when they are injured (First Aid) or suffer from acute illnesses.
  • Administering medication to students.
  • Referring students, staff or parents to other care providers.
  • Interacting with parents and students.
  • Managing the 'Healthcare system' in the school through record keeping, risk assessment and control, administering vaccinations and health assessment.
  • Advising staff on how to deal and respond to emergency situations in school or whilst on trips.
  • Keeping records for students treated and reasons, students referred to hospital, hospital admissions, accidents and causes and hospital referral.
  • Control and surveillance of food allergens and the allergen control plan.
  • Health education.
  • Giving medical advice to staff.
Qualifications required

  • University degree and qualified as a registered Nurse.
  • Specialized training in pediatrics will be valued.
  • Qualification in food hygiene will be valued.
  • Superior level of First Aid training.
  • Able to make decisions in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills when dealing with patients.
  • Ability to develop own learning by carrying out the job.
  • English B1 level requeried. Fluent level will be valued.
