ROLE SUMMARY
The colleague has accountability for being an active member of the Intercompany Operations Sustainability Council and serving on the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Sustainability Council

They will be accountable for managing an external market intelligence hub (ex. capacity, rates, fuel, biofuel) and linking insights to forecasts and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is accountable for partnering with Procurement and representing the business in Agile initiatives across all supply chains. This is inclusive of how we position, analyze, manage partners and make decisions for sourcing opportunities.

They will be responsible for contract management and governance for Logistics Delivery business operations.

This role is responsible for supporting several teams (direct and indirect) focused on E2E supply chain design, execution, and control


These teams include:

  • Intercompany Operations Sustainability Council
  • Business Control and Analytics

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sustainability
  • Key member of Intercompany Operations Sustainability Council. Ensures robust programs and initiatives to meet Pfizer's Net Zero objectives.
  • Market Intelligence develops best in class external market intelligence capabilities (ex. Capacity, Rates, Fuel, Biofuel) and links to forecasting and agile sourcing strategies.
  • Analytics responsible for baseline development and scenario building to support continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chains
  • Contract Management accountable for representing business and liaising with Procurement, Risk Management and Legal for all contract negotiations with external service providers.


  • Communication and Alignment

  • Connects Logistics Delivery Operations with all E2E stakeholders (ex. Logistics centers, plants, markets, supply chain, quality operations etc.). Drive process and project alignment and standardization.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of logistics experience and 'end to end' supply chain exposure
  • Strong skills in managing extended and virtual teams, with range of xfunctional stakeholders
  • Highly developed communications skills critical able to manage at multiple levels in the organization, written and verbal
  • Has good knowledge of planning, data management, order management, logistics execution and visualization platforms
  • Proven analytical skills, including technical skills with Business Intelligence platforms
  • People management experience preferred
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work in a global environment across multiple time zones
  • Up to 15% travel
  • Nonstandard business hour support (e.g. weekends) as required
